Primary Purpose:
Train, develop, and collaborate with staff to implement comprehensive academic and behavioral supports.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
3 years of successful classroom experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Train, develop, and collaborate with staff for the successful implementation of student accommodations.
- Coordinate with IC and campus admin in facilitating PLC/data meetings.
- 504 Coordinator.
- MTSS facilitator (campus/district).
- Bilingual/TELPAS (LPAC) coordinator.
- GPC coordinator.
- Member of Tier I & II behavior committees.
- Campus testing coordinator.
- Coordinate testing accommodations across programs for consistency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- ARD support as coordinated with campus admin.
Other
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by principal.

Tools/Equipment Used: Personal computer and peripherals, and other instructional equipment
Posture: Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Frequent walking
Lifting: Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may require occasional heavy lifting (45 pounds or more) and positioning of students with physical disabilities, control behavior through physical restraint, assist non-ambulatory students, and lift and move adaptive and other classroom equipment
Environment: Work inside; may work outside; regular exposure to noise; exposure to biological hazards
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; may work prolonged or irregular hours |
